Mangled Mosaic of Lithosphere metal print by Scott Slone. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The Talkeenta Mountains are in their own right one of Alaska's most rugged mountain ranges. Several active faults keep the southwestern part of the mountain range very active, which is the cause for the boulder fields and freshly exposed granite seen in this photo. This is one of my favorite playgrounds, located just hour north east of Anchorage.
